Geraldine received a Masters in Business Administration in 1985 from Golden Gate University, Sacramento, California. After establishing her bookkeeping and payroll service, she went on to pass the Enrolled Agent examination and was certified as Enrolled Agent by United States Department of the Treasury on June 30, 1995.
What does this mean? It means that she can represent the taxpayer before the Internal Revenue Service and that she has demonstrated competence specifically in the matters of taxation. In addition, she is required to maintain her competence by earning 72 hours of continuing education in taxation every three years.
More recently, she completed a three-year program in Representation and Practice before the Internal Revue Service and in July of 1999 she became a fellow of the National Tax Practice Institute. In June 2004 she completed a corresponding two year program in California representation - C-Star.
Throughout the year, Geraldine advises, represents and prepares tax returns for individuals and businesses. Her goal is to give her clients the best deal possible within the framework of tax law and ethics.
